Let’s Go Boys and Girls Inc.

While all students are capable of academic achievement, too many do not have equitable access to informal STEM learning experiences that empower them towards educational and professional success in the 21st century information age. LETS GO Boys and Girls Mission: “Break the Cycle of Poverty through STEM Education and
Workforce Development”. LETS GO partners with schools and youth organizations to establish high-quality, ‘hands-on/minds-on’ STEM programs for youth in underserved communities.

For the past 1.5 yrs., LETS GO has been working with the Rosman School District, NC to establish and sustain a STEM education and workforce development program for students from K to workforce. In year 1 (SY20/21), LETS GO enabled TC Henderson Elementary to launch a 5th grade STEM enrichment program (pilot). In year 2 (SY
21/22, current), the program was expanded to include 3rd to 5th grades plus launch a 6th grade STEM program at Rosman Middle School.

Grant funding from Lake Toxaway Charities will provide funding to develop, train and support a STEM program for 7th/8th grades with a simultaneous launch of the STEM workforce development program at Rosman High School.
