Earthshine Earthshine Nature Programs was founded in 2010 by naturalist Steve O’Neil. Earthshine Mountain Program’s mission is to provide a unique learning environment and opportunities for everyone that will foster a lasting interest, respect, love and hopefully greater conservation of wildlife, wild places, and the fragile environment that supports us all.
Earthshine Mountain Programs works to provide exciting and educational outreach programming to the local and regional communities. In addition, Earthshine Mountain Programs has created a one-of-a-kind, fully solar-powered nature and science education classroom that is open to their students throughout the week and to the public by appointment.
Lake Toxaway Charities awarded a grant in 2020, 2021, and 2022 to fund projects aimed at involving children in conservation efforts.
