To all Lake Toxaway Supporters!
Lake Toxaway Charities’ Mamma Mia Sports Day and Dinner Dance Gala was a smashing success this year at Lake Toxaway Country Club, with guests embracing the joyful, Mediterranean-inspired spirit of the evening. More than 200 families supported the gala through sponsorships and donations. 265 guests joined the celebration, with more than 150 taking part in the golf, tennis, pickleball and croquet competitions.
The collective impact of the community’s extraordinary generosity allowed for yet another record year of raising more than $1.2 million! These funds will directly benefit the Hungry, the Homeless, those in need of Healthcare, the Abused, and Education systems and programs throughout Transylvania County. Special thanks go to Hank and Jeannette Schuyler for the evening’s beautiful event design and décor which brought the celebration to life! Additional thanks to many, many volunteers and to the outstanding staff of Lake Toxaway Country Club for executing another tremendously successful event. Due to the incredible support of our community, Lake Toxaway Charities continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most.

Auction Items
This year’s Lake Toxaway Charities Gala features two exceptional auction items — each one a piece of history in its own right. Rock legend Cliff Williams, the iconic bassist of AC/DC, and his wife, Georganne, have generously donated their personal 1971 Triumph TR6, a classic British two-seater convertible valued at $55,000. Joining it on the auction block is an authenticated pin flag signed by Tiger Woods, commemorating his historic third Masters victory at Augusta National in 2002, generously donated by Roy and Billie Messer. Both items will be on display at the Lake Toxaway Country Club. Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting the hungry, the homeless, abused women and children, education systems, and those without access to medical care right here in Transylvania County.
