Grant Funding from Lake Toxaway Charities will be used to encourage and attract students to the Gorges State Park for on-site environmental education classes. Grades to be included are K-12. With primary focus on the western half of Transylvania County. Schools to be included are public, private, and home. Funding will help cover transportation and snack / refreshment expenses more students will be able to take advantage of the excellent educational programming at Gorges.
