Creating a Family – Emergency Grant 2020

Lake Toxaway Charities approved a $5,000 emergency grant on April 8th to Creating a Family to support the development of a curriculum to help foster and kinship families in Transylvania County during the COVID 19 pandemic.

April Spotlight – Sharing House

The Lake Toxaway Charities emergency grant funding is hard at work at Sharing House. The Sharing House is using the funds to meet immediate needs.

Coronavirus Response – MedAssist

Lake Toxaway Charities approved reallocation of a $10,000 grant for MedAssist on March 18th. MedAssist provides medication for those residents who cannot afford it.

Mountain Roots – Emergency Grant 2020

Mountain Roots is in the process of developing a family support plan to provide some guidance and encouragement to the families in our community during this time.
