God’s Way Food Pantry is experiencing a significant increased demand for produce and groceries, currently 4 times the normal distribution. By the end of May, God’s Way Food Pantry anticipates meeting the food needs for 800 to 1,000 people in our community, who would otherwise go hungry. On May 2nd, the food pantry provided groceries to 200 families in the Balsam Grove area of Trayslvania County.
Lake Toxaway Charities donated $5,000 April 2nd to aid in this important initiative. The funds will help provide gloves, masks, and additional food for our local families in need.
