Transylvania Habitat for Humanity is a Christian-based non-profit dedicated to building safe affordable housing for people in need in our community. Funding from Lake Toxaway Charities has enabled Habitat for Humanity to continue our programs for area residents.” To date we have built over 100 homes. In addition to building new, affordable housing TCH4H operates an existing home repair program based on, urgency of need, eligibility and special needs factors. Projects include roofing repairs and replacement, floor repairs, exterior and interior repairs, decks and stairs, HVAC, water heaters and more.
