Volunteer Spotlight – December 2021

Rita Olschewski

Rita Olschewski is a Lake Toxaway part-time resident and avid volunteer at T.C. Henderson Elementary School (TCH) here in Lake Toxaway.

For years Rita has volunteered with helping the TCH students who need assistance in Math and Science.  Rita is a retired elementary school teacher.  She is a consistent and giving volunteer to the students.  She often gives not only of her time, experience but she also provides the students with school supplies & learning materials they need and even provides books. 

We are grateful for all the help she provides the students.  Rita, thank you for the impact you are making on the children at T.C. Henderson every day.  Please give Rita a big thank you when you see or e-mail her next.

Rita and her husband, Will, travel the world and live in the Bahamas in the off season.
