On June 10th our Grant Assessment Committee paid a visit to Change the World Food Bank at Anchor Baptist Church to review their operations, facilities, and grant request for 2020. You may remember, Lake Toxaway Charities, as part of an emergency COVID impact request, granted $11,500 in emergency funding to supply food for Transylvania County residents. They are currently averaging around 400 meals a week. Change the World also provides this well stocked pantry for needy shoppers. It is an impressive operation.
