Transylvania Community Arts Council

Lake Toxaway Charities grants primarily help the TC Arts Council provide art classes, art camps and art opportunities for the underserved, economically challenged and special needs individuals in Transylvania County. The Council works closely with Transylvania Vocational Services (adults with disabilities), Rise and Shine (an after-school program), and El Centro Community Center.  It also offers gallery exhibits, joins in local art and culture celebrations, supports the County’s economic development through art and awards its own grants and scholarships.  Programs in photography, pottery and other art mediums are offered to children and adults at its summer camps, local schools and year-round classes to provide an introduction to and promote the arts in Transylvania County.
