Rosman High School

Lake Toxaway Charities funds the purchase of calculators, geography software for classroom use and virtual reality devices for our school’s media center.  Its grants have allowed us to enhance our classroom geography programs, encouraging our students to ‘travel’ the world and expand their own horizons through the use of today’s technology.

Senior day of service

Lake Toxaway Charities is pleased to support Rosman High School’s Senior Day of Service.

Each year, the students identify areas in the community of need.  They help to organize the work groups and organize needed materials.  By working with adults in the community, they learn leadership and communication skills.  They also develop an appreciation and pride for the area where they live. These soft skills are not always easily incorporated into the curriculum, but are very valuable in the workplace.
