Dear Lake Toxaway Friends and Neighbors,

The sixth annual Angel Tree Giving Program, co-sponsored by Lake Toxaway Charities and The Greystone Inn, has again joined with a local food bank and four area schools, pre-K through 12th grades, to provide clothing, food, and holiday gifts to underprivileged students and their families, as well as needy seniors. gifts to students, their families, and seniors who would benefit from community support. This year has continued to be difficult with inflation impacting those with limited or fixed incomes. The need is great.

Your tax-deductible donation of $250 for each Angel provides students and their families with new clothing for each child, a Christmas stocking filled with toiletries, and a wrapped gift for every family member. They also receive a large food basket filled with canned goods, fresh fruits and vegetables, and a ham. Teachers, guidance counselors and principals volunteer to buy, wrap and deliver all gifts to the families.  

If you choose to sponsor a senior, your $250 donation will provide a large food basket and gifts such as blankets and grocery and gas cards to get to medical appointments. The local food bank volunteers coordinate this.
